North America is estimated to dominate majority revenue share by 2036, backed by growing awareness among the population related to e-waste recycling and a surge in the number of smart cities, along with large number of people living in urban areas in the region. According to the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) data, the share of the urban population surged to 56.2% in 2020.
