• Qualcomm Technologies Inc. collaborated with Beem, an augmented reality (AR) communications platform, and T-Mobile US, to integrate telepresence calling into the Snapdragon Spaces XR Developer Platform from Qualcomm with the help of compatible devices running on T-Mobile's 5G network, and Beem’s holographic Display software that will make its hologram solution more accessible by leveraging the Snapdragon Spaces platform. In addition, as part of its efforts to enhance digital communication, Beem announced that it is working to make holograms more widely available, providing a more personal digital medium than video conferencing.
• RealView Imaging Ltd announced that it has obtained approval from the FDA for its HOLOSCOPE-i holographic system which provides physicians with a natural 3D visualization experience enabling accurate and hands-on interaction before and during interventional operations with dynamic holograms of the patient's actual anatomy that float in free space by creating spatially accurate, three-dimensional interactive medical holograms, based on data received from standard CT scans and 3D ultrasound systems.
