The growth of the market can be attributed majorly to the growing penetration of bots in web traffic. In 2021, harmful bots accounted for around 26% of website traffic in Asia Pacific (APAC). Account takeover (ATO), content or price scraping, and scalping to purchase limited-availability items were the three most typical bot attacks.
