February 28, 2020: Peru has witnessed risen cases of Anemia in the past two years due to a scarcity of animal protein sources and iron intake in the diet, with the national Anemia rate in children mounting to 47%. In response to this, the U.S. Meat Export Federation (USMEF)  in corporation with Grupo Pecuario, a chief importer of U.S. beef assortment meat in Peru, conducted the U.S. beef liver cooking demo and tasting activity for promoting the role of beef liver in fighting Anemia. The promotional activity was funded by the Agricultural Trade Promotion Program (ATP).

June 12, 2020: Tyson Foods, Inc., a pioneer in the food industry and Save A Lot, a U.S. discount grocer collaborated for donating 40,000 pounds of chicken to the St. Louis Area Foodbank for helping the areas of Missouri and Illinois, to fight hunger. The St. Louis Area Foodbank serves 26 counties in Missouri and Illinois and they will dispense the donated food via its committed partnership of over 500 hunger-relief programs and local organizations.
