Donaldson Company, Inc. announced its new product “Ultrapac” smart dryer. This dryer would be used for the compressed air filtration process. The dryer decreases the compressed air moisture and helps in extending the life of filters and equipment, which provides lowered plant maintenance costs.
Lydall, Inc. announced the investment in additional fine fiber meltblown assets in response to the rapid increase in domestic and global demand for specialty filtration media for face masks. This new production line is expected to help Lydall boost its capabilities for producing high-quality fine fiber melt blown filtration media for N95, surgical, and medical face masks & significantly increase its supply and help recover the shortage of melt-blown materials, both in the U.S. and globally.
Schweitzer-Mauduit International, Inc. announced the supply of advanced nonwoven materials for the suppliers and manufacturers of face masks to meet the global challenge caused by the coronavirus outbreak. The “Delpore melt blown media” and “Delnet aperture film” as supplied by the company are widely used in face masks due to their excellent breathability without sacrificing Bacterial Filtration Efficiency (BFE).
